Remote, High and Wild Destination
6 persons minimum, 8 days
$300 per person/per day
Whether you want to travel on foot or on horseback, or with a combination of the two, we can accommodate your adventure into the Scapegoat and Bob Marshall country.
You will have the opportunity to experience some of the most remote and difficult to access reaches of this wild country. The support we offer with pack stock, saddle animals and expert guides can make such a trip a once-in-a-lifetime adventure.
While the mainline trails and river corridors offer one dimension of the backcountry experience, getting to the remote wild country is another.
We offer these trips to help the public access otherwise logistically complicated destinations. Regardless of your preferred mode of travel, we can assist you with getting there. We aim to facilitate your high quality experience while doing our utmost to involve you in a program that respects the resource and promotes sustainable recreational experience.
Our expert guides/naturalists will help you learn important backcountry skills and knowledge. Skills include safety/accident prevention, creek and river crossing, trail etiquette, understanding weather and terrain, food storage/sanitation, attractant management, low impact camping methods, managing wildlife encounters and what to bring and what to leave.
A 30% down payment is required upon booking with the remainder due two weeks prior to your trip.
A 10% to 15% gratuity is customary for services of this nature. Each member of our staff is committed to providing you with a high-quality, enjoyable experience. Please consider including a gratuity to thank them for their specialized skills and hard work.
With limited exceptions, all payments are considered non-refundable. Refunds may be made when cancellations can be filled.
Anyone interested in a trip will be asked to complete a Pre-Screening Health Questionnaire, and those who book a trip will be required to sign an Acknowledgement of Responsiblity and Assumption of Risk document,
as per Montana State Law.
Additionally, our naturalists enjoy deepening your understanding of the amazing ecology of the wild Rockies, providing instruction on plants, birds and other wildlife, and forest ecolog
