Fall Hunting Trips - Drop Camp

We offer a great alternative to a guided hunt during the rifle season. Those who want to hunt the backcountry on their own can take advantage of our drop camps for an elk and/or mule deer hunt. These hunts take place out of Deer Park Camp and total nine days in length (including one day to pack in and one day to pack out). We provide two canvas wall tents for living space (furnished the same as in our Danaher and Cooney Creek camps) and a canvas kitchen wall tent stocked with a propane range, basic cooking and cleaning supplies, and a table and chairs. Our wranglers will pack you and your gear into and out of camp and will check on you throughout the week; any harvested animals will be packed out at this time. Hunters must bring their own food.

2011 Dates

We offer up to four sessions per season. As we start to get bookings, we will group hunters together so as not to exceed the four session limit.

Rates

$2,000 per person, per hunt

Hunters must apply for their own license through the State of Montana, as the outfitter-sponsored license does not apply to a non-guided hunt.

Details

If booking a hunt prior to drawing a license, a 10% fully refundable down payment is required upon booking as a placeholder. 40% is due if a hunting license is drawn, with the remaining 50% due two weeks prior to your trip.

If booking a hunt after drawing a license, a 50% non-refundable down payment is required upon booking with the remaining 50% due two weeks prior to your trip.

Please account for at least 15% gratuity.

With limited exceptions, all payments are non-refundable.

Anyone interested in a trip will be asked to complete a Pre-Screening Health Questionnaire, and those who book a trip will be required to sign a Liability Waiver.
